Samsung has built a dog house that will probably surpass the style of most of our own. Called the “Samsung Dream Doghouse”, the sponsor of Cruft’s dog show has debuted the impressive canine technological feat at the Samsung Stand at Crufts 2015 (begins today, March 5th in Birmingham).

The doghouse cost £20,000 to create, and is feature rich two room canine condo containing an automatic feeder, a treadmill covered in faux lawn, a hydrotherapy pool, pillow covered pod (reminds me a bit of a padded asylum room or some such), and a tablet.

I’m not sure about your dog, but Mort would have the auto feeder empty straight away! Samsung states “Samsung says 64 per cent of dog owners think their pets would benefit from more technology and gadgets,” and we couldn’t agree more at this website anyway! I do wonder what’s up with the wall covered in dog photos though – I’m not sure what dog would be too intrigued by those.

What do you think of Samsung’s “dog kennel of the future”? It is certainly something that could work very well in a shared environment (I’m thinking dog hotels and daycares), but I think my two would probably prefer a human’s couch over a dog sized version surrounded by windows for any extended stay.
